Global and Heartwood are two companies that manufacture their products in Canada. Both use sustainable wood sources and Global manufacturers plastic and metals and use many recycled materials in their manufacturing process. I was fortunate enough to tour the manufacturing facilities in Ontario to see how all this great office furniture is made, from design to testing it was state of the art and extremely interesting to see. These companies employ thousands of workers across Canada and implement practices to reduce their environmental imprint.
